The delegation visited Ireland and specifically Colm Quinn on a best practice expedition to gain knowledge on how the retailer in Athlone manages its BMW Premium Selection and MINI Cherished business.
Of specific interest to the group was the history, growth and expansion of Colm Quinn with the company opening its Athlone retail centre in 2009 when many companies were crumbling, particularly in the luxury car segment.
Also of interest to the group were stock management, maintenance, segregation, conquest business and the marketing activity that the company undertakes. The Athlone retail centre has been described by BMW AG as “the Best Practice, State of the Art, BMW Premium Selection Dealer in Europe” and the used car layout and quality of display is used by BMW trainers worldwide as the model for excellence in retail centre layout and display.
Colm Quinn operates retail centres in both Athlone and Galway showcasing the most recent BMW and MINI models while also stocking an extensive range of BMW Premium Selection and MINI Cherished vehicles, each carrying up to 2 years warranty.
