To mark the launch of the all-new Civic, Honda has been splashing the cash this week, in two separate giveaways.
First up, Jason O’Dwyer collected €5,000 as the winner of the Christmas “Guess the Snowflake” competition.
For two weeks people had the opportunity to log onto www.honda.ie and guess the number of snowflakes that fell over the all-new 2017 Honda Civic, in the online animation.
Jason who guessed 789 snowflakes arrived to Universal Honda to collect his winnings and with the help of his son Dylan unveiled the all-new Honda Civic to the attendees on the night.
In conjunction with the “Guess the Snowflake Competition” Universal Honda also gifted €5,000 to the Dublin Simon Community as part of its “Powering Local Dreams” Project, which celebrates over 30 years of the Honda brand in Ireland.
Annmarie Brennan from the Dublin Simon Community said: ‘“On behalf of Dublin Simon Community and the people who rely on our services each day, we would like to thank everyone in Honda for their support. You are providing people with life changing outreach, treatment, housing, homelessness prevention and education services. Your kindness will make a vital difference and enable the people and families to move to a safe and secure place they can call home.”
John Saunders, Sales and Marketing Director of Universal Honda at the prize-giving said: “This evening has been a wonderful opportunity for us to give something back, not only a small helping hand to the community through the terrific work of Dublin Simon, but also brightening someone’s new year with the wonderful prize of €5,000 from the ‘Guess the Snowflake’ Competition.”
