Based on the 3-door Golf, the Golf Van has a load capacity of 1,310 litres and is expected to be a popular choice for small business users.

Golf Van offers outstanding fuel economy of 3.8 l/100km on the combined cycle thanks to BlueMotion technology, thus keeping running costs as low as possible.

Standard equipment includes leather steering wheel, front centre armrest, 5″ touch-screen “Composition Colour” radio system, Climatic air conditioning and a Multi-Function display.

Available as a €695 option is the Business Package, which comes with 5.8” “Composition Media” radio system, Bluetooth, Multi-Function Steering Wheel, Cruise Control and a Media Input for iPod / iPhone.

“It is great to be able to offer the Golf Van in the Irish market again, now in Mark 7 guise, said Paul Burke, Operations Director of Volkswagen Ireland.

“There is a strong demand for this vehicle from small business users as it offers the best of both worlds, namely the comfort and quality of a Golf, with the load carrying capacity of a light commercial vehicle,” he added.

The Golf Van costs €16,280 excluding VAT (€19,995 inclusive of VAT). Annual road tax is €333.
