Renault Group is celebrated a great July (162 registration plate), with volume for Renault and Dacia up 18 per cent, and is now at 10.2 per cent market share.
Dacia finished the month at 3.3 per cent market share, in 11th position, ahead of some well established brands.
Some other key features for the group includes the Captur being number one in its segment and Kadjar, launched just last year, at number four in its segment.
Renault also just launched its all-new Megane in late June, and the new Dacia Duster Phase 2 was also launched with a new refreshed look inside and out, but still keeps its very attractive price.
Dacia celebrated its fourth year in Ireland in July, and is testament to the brand’s ethos that it is now ahead in the market of many long established brands.
Renault LCV was number two on the podium in July, thanks to the success of its three key award-winning models, Trafic, Master and Kangoo. The company says that their 0% finance offer on Master has been extended until 31st August.
Paddy Magee, Country Operations Manager, Renault Group: “We had our most successful July in three years and we are delighted to be at 10.2% market share for the Group, a great achievement.
Renault and Dacia cars and LCV performed really well across the board, and as we are continuing to add new models, it really is a top July for us.
The market is still growing at over 9.3% and the rate of growth may have slowed significantly, but we are very happy with how the brand and our 27 dealerships have performed over the very busy lead up to the 162 registration period.
We will be launching New Scenic and Grand Scenic in late-autumn, followed by the brand new Megane Grand Coupe, our new saloon.
Overall, Renault Group is in a really good place with all brands performing extremely well in July and looking forward to a successful August also”.
