Renault Group Ireland launches new used car programme

Renault Group Ireland has launched its new used car programme, Renault Selection at selected Renault and Dacia dealerships nationwide.

The Group researched the used car market in Ireland extensively to understand what mattered most to its customers, and from this research, built the Renault Selection used car programme offering a minimum of two years’ warranty together with two years’ roadside assistance on used Renault or Dacia models up to six years old.

In addition to this, participating Renault dealerships will also provide a full vehicle history check with every car and will prepare their cars to a unique “Buy Today – Drive Today” standard which ensures customers receive only the highest-quality product.

To make the Renault Selection purchase even more seamless, Renault Bank will also be an integral part of the programme providing a one-stop finance solution for all customers. To celebrate the launch of Renault Selection, Renault Bank is now offering a special rate of just 4.9 per cent APR PCP/HP fixed on used cars until 31st October 2017.

Renault Selection is a new standard in the used cars market which is built with the customer’s peace of mind at its core and is set to become the benchmark for used car programmes in Ireland. To demonstrate Renault Group’s confidence in the vehicles it sells, dealerships will exchange a vehicle purchased under the programme with one of a similar value (within 30 days or 1,000 kilometres from date of delivery) should an irreparable fault occur.

Renault Group Ireland currently holds 10 per cent market share of the combined car and van market, and this brand success coupled with the loyalty of Renault and Dacia customers has resulted in a fantastic Selection of quality used Renault and Dacia models.

Brian Quinlan, Used Vehicle & Business Development Manager at Renault Ireland said: “We are delighted that we have achieved our goal and have now launched Ireland’s most customer-centric used car programme. We could see the demand for used Renault & Dacia models growing very quickly so it was important that we presented these used vehicles to potential customers in the same high standards we applied to our new vehicle sales. We have invested a lot of development and research time in Renault Selection because we want to deliver the most customer-focussed used car programme in Ireland.”
