SsangYong Motors Ireland were the official vehicle sponsors of the Golden Shears World Sheep Shearing Contest which took place in Gorey last weekend.
VIP Guests from all over the world were transported in the Korando Sports 4×4 and media were escorted in the Rexton W 4×4.
Joe Harris, CEO SsangYong Motors Ireland said: ‘We were delighted to be chosen as official vehicle providers for this event. The farming community is a perfect fit for our new range of 4x4s and it was a great chance to demonstrate the versatility of the vehicles.’
The World Sheep Shearing Championships was visited by an estimated 32,000 visitors. Rowland Smith from New Zealand claimed the ultimate prize from this four-day event in Gorey.
