Honda Prelude returns to Irish roads

Making a return after 25 years, Honda Ireland is welcoming back the Prelude as a hybrid e:HEV, starting from €59,995.

According to Honda, the sixth-generation model’s exterior design is inspired by the timeless grace and elegance of gliders, while the compelling combination of engaging handling and dynamics is reminiscent of an acrobatic flight.

The new Prelude pairs a 2.0-litre petrol engine with a lightweight dual electric motor ‘S+ Shift’ automatic transmission, delivering 184PS (135kW).

The Prelude interior options include two-tone material finishes that feature either a white-and-blue or black-and-blue theme. The choice of six exterior paint options is offered.

It gets a 10.2-inch driver display and a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system that features Apple CarPlay, with wireless connectivity, and Android Auto.

The new Prelude has four seats and 663-litres of luggage space under the hatchback tailgate.

The new Prelude will be available across the Honda dealer network to order from July.
