Tesla opens Supercharger access to Volvo EVs

Electric Volvo drivers will soon be able to use the company’s app to charge their cars at any of Tesla’s Supercharger stations around Ireland and across Europe.

The update is expected to be made available during Q4 of this year, and will be applicable to Volvo’s EX30, EX40, EC40, EX60, EX90 and ES90 electric models.

The Tesla Supercharger network spans 20,000 stations across Europe, with nine currently operational around Ireland. This number is expected to grow in the coming months.

Maximum charging speeds at these units range from 150 kW to 250 kW.
