Dublin’s Lord Mayor chooses a Volvo S80

Tradition dictates that the first citizen of Dublin has the first car registered in the capital each year, and once again Lord Mayor of Dublin Oisín Quinn has chosen the Volvo S80 as his official Mayoral car.

Volvo is a world leader in reducing C02 emissions, so the Lord Mayor Oisín Quinn is happy to choose the Volvo S80 D4 SE Lux Geartronic, equipped with Volvo’s latest Drive-E D4 diesel powertrain.

The Lord Mayor of Dublin Oisín Quinn has chosen a Volvo S80 D4 SE lux which has a powerful and economical new 2.0 liter Drive-E Diesel Engine benefiting from CO2 emissions of just 117 g/km (tax band A4) and fuel consumption of 4.5 l/100 km (62.7 mpg) respectively.

The Lord Mayor can enjoy a very high standard of specification and power meanwhile retaining economical fuel consumption and low C02 emissions.

Our new D4 engine is not only more powerful than its predecessor; it is more economical and has lower Co2 emissions. The Lord Mayor’s car comes with heated front seats, Tempa spare wheel and passenger airbag cut-off switch, which is in black sapphire metallic and is equipped with all the usual executive features you would expect.
