Dan Seaman Motors appointed Leapmotor dealer

Leapmotor Ireland has appointed Dan Seaman Motors in Forge Hill, Co. Cork, as the second official franchise dealer for Leapmotor in Ireland.

Launching in Ireland this October, Chinese brand Leapmotor, which is part of the Stellantis group, will debut with its T03 and C10 electric and hybrid models.

Gowan Auto is the national importer for Leapmotor in Ireland, and says further dealer franchise appointments will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Brand Manager at Leapmotor Ireland, Stephen McGrath commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Dan Seaman Motors to the Leapmotor family as our next franchise dealer. Their longstanding reputation in Cork for outstanding customer care and community engagement makes them a natural fit for the Leapmotor brand and our mission to lead the transition to sustainable motoring, across the entire country.

“Partnering with Dan Seaman Motors extends our reach to serve even more Irish drivers with cutting-edge technology, unbeatable value, and exceptional service standards. Together, we are excited to drive Ireland’s zero-emissions future forward.”

Founded in 1985 by Dan Seaman, Dan Seaman Motors is a family-run dealership serving Cork for over 40 years. In 2002, the business relocated from Cork City to a spacious, modern two-story showroom in Forge Hill. The dealership already represents four Stellantis sister brands in Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional and Jeep.

Ger Seaman, dealer principal at Dan Seaman Motors, said: “Being entrusted with the Leapmotor brand is a proud moment for us. We are genuinely excited to introduce the people of Cork to a new era of electric mobility, bringing cutting-edge technology and exceptional value to our customers.”
