Michael Moore Volkswagen Athlone has been named Volkswagen Retailer of the Year 2023 by Volkswagen Ireland.
According to Volkswagen Ireland, the award recognises the excellence achieved by the Athlone team for their performance across all areas of the business and their customer first focus at all times.
The Volkswagen Retailer of the Year award is an annual accolade that recognises VW retailers that have demonstrated “exceptional performance in various areas, such as customer experience, sales and aftersales”.
To mark the award a specially commissioned painting linking the excellence and leadership demonstrated by the all the team at Michael Moore Volkswagen for the last 52 years along with key elements unique to Athlone were included, the painting is now displayed in the showroom.
Alan Bateson, director of Volkswagen Ireland, presented the award to Michael Moore, saying: “The Volkswagen Retailer of the Year award stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication, tireless effort and exceptional service provided by our retailer network.
“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Michael Moore Volkswagen Athlone and wish to express our profound gratitude for their invaluable contributions to the continued success and reputation of the Volkswagen brand in Ireland.”
Michael Moore said he was delighted for the branch to win the prestigious award: “Winning Volkswagen Retailer of the Year is a brilliant achievement for the team here and we are very proud. We always aim to provide to the best customer experience so to win this award means a lot to all of us.”
