The new Fiat Grande Panda is due to arrive in Ireland from April this year, with the electric version arriving first, followed shortly after by the Hybrid version, Fiat Ireland has said.

Engines
With a 44 kWh battery and an 83 kW e-motor (113 HP), the electric Grande Panda offers a WLTP combined range of up to 320km. It has a maximum speed of 132km/h and a 0-100 km/h in 11 seconds.
The new model is equipped with an integrated AC retractable cable at the front (in addition to the rear charging port), capable of charging at up to 7 kW, completing a charge from 20 to 80 per cent in over four hours.
As an alternative to the retractable cable setup, a rear-only 11 kW charging port can be chosen, which cuts recharging time by over a hour. For both solutions, a standard DC fast charging port at the rear is included, offering 100 kW charging power and completing a charge in around half an hour.
The Hybrid version is equipped with a turbo 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine, 100hp, a 48-volt Li-ion battery, and the six-speed electric dual-clutch transmission (eDCT) which includes the 21-kW e-motor, inverter, and transmission central unit.
Trims
The electric version comes in two configurations: its fully loaded, top-of-the-range Grande Panda ‘La Prima’, and the (Grande Panda) Red. The latter features distinctive design elements such as the 16-inch white steel wheels and the ‘RED’ logo on the B-pillar. The Fiat Grande Panda electric has a 361-litre boot.
For the hybrid, there is the entry level ‘Pop’ trim. This is complete with ADAS, manual air conditioning, a 10-inch cluster, automatic eDCT, Electric Parking Brake (EPB) and connected services through the dedicated smartphone station. The next trim level is ‘Icon’ and the top level is the ‘La Prima’.
Full details of specifications and pricing for the Irish Market will be available closer to launch.
