Parents across Ireland have voted the Nissan X-Trail e-Power as the ‘Best Family Car’ at the 2024 National Parenting Products Awards (NPPA).
The NPPA is Ireland’s only independently verified consumer awards for products and services for young families, revealing the most trusted pregnancy, toddler and baby purchases on the market. Over 2,800 parents voted for the top products.
This is the 11th year that the awards have taken place. For 2024, 185 products were evaluated across 52 categories, with gold, silver and bronze winners announced for each. The Nissan X-Trail was a gold medal winner in the newly introduced category for Best Family Car.
The coveted awards were decided using a two-tiered approach, featuring a survey of a national sample of parents with babies under three years of age. The products were also tested by 15 specialists in the parenting industry including paediatric nurses, childcare professionals, dieticians, midwives and sleep experts.
The Nissan X-Trail e-Power is available in both five and seven-seater configurations, offering convenient options for driving adventures and days out with family and friends, while e-Power makes it possible to enjoy all of the benefits of EV driving without ever having to plug in the car to recharge it.
The Nissan X-Trail has been built to make life easier for parents with babies and toddlers. The rear passenger doors are integrated with sun blinds to offer protection on sunny days and open to nearly 90 degrees to make the second-row seats more accessible. A powered hands-free tailgate makes accessing the spacious boot effortless.
