Toyota reveals bZ4X Touring

Toyota has unveiled the new bZ4X Touring, an estate version of the already available bZ4X SUV.

Joining Toyota’s expanding lineup of battery electric vehicles, the bZ4X Touring will arrive in the first half of 2026, following the 2025 launch of the C-HR+.

The bZ4X Touring will come equipped with 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery offering a claimed range of up to 560km (WLTP). Depending on the grade, there will be an 11kW or 22 kW onboard charger, with up to 150 kW DC fast charging.

Toyota says front- and all-wheel drive options will be available. The all-wheel drive option gains extra horsepower giving the bZ4X Touring the capacity to now tow trailers up to 1,500 kg.

Compared to the original bZ4X, the Touring version adopts a series of styling details for a more rugged look, with a grained black finish for the wheel arches, black wheels and robust roof rails.

The Touring is also 140 mm longer and 20 mm higher than its SUV counterpart, giving it a 148-litre boot increase over the standard bZ4X.

Interior upgrades include a redesigned centre console and a 14-inch multimedia screen.

The bZ4X Touring will be backed by Toyota’s Battery Extended Care Program, covering the battery each year for up to 10 years of vehicle age or up to one million kilometres driven, subject to an annual service.

The bZ4X Touring is scheduled for release in Ireland in spring 2026, with further performance and specification details to be confirmed closer to launch.
