French sports car manufacturer Alpine has officially launchd in Ireland through Cedar Motors Distribution, the company that already represents Renault, Dacia, and Nissan.
The launch of Alpine in Ireland is headlined by the arrival of two models: the A110 two-seater sports car and the new fully-electric A290, which is based on the new Renault 5 and is priced from €36,690 (including SEAI grant).

From 1st July, the Alpine range will be on display in the Alpine pop-up store at Dundrum Town Centre in Co Dublin.
Test drives and vehicle sales will be available through Windsor Motormall in North Dublin, Alpine’s official retail and service partner in Ireland.
“This expansion reflects Cedar Motors’ commitment to broadening the Irish automotive landscape with brands that offer not only quality and reliability, but also character, excitement, and innovation,” said Seamus Morgan, managing director, Cedar Motors.

Originally founded in 1955 by Jean Rédélé, Alpine’s heritage is deeply rooted in motorsport, particularly in rallying and Formula 1, which has shaped its identity as a performance driven brand. It was revived under the Renault Group in 2018.
This year also marks the 70th anniversary of the Alpine brand, which has plans to launch seven fully electric vehicles by 2030.
This includes the new A290, as well as the recently revealed A390 which is expected to arrive in Ireland in 2026.
