Volvo revealed the first in a series of three concepts at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Volvo Concept Coupe has been designed on Volvo’s brand new chassis, titled Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) and uses a new hybrid system, mixing electrification with a powerful version of an engine from Volvo’s new Drive-E powertrain.
The Volvo Concept Coupe is the the stand highlight, holding many styling cues for future models, including the all-new XC90 which will be released in late-2014.
Along with the centre-piece concept, Volvo is showcasing its most up-to-date model range ever seen, along with its new Drive-E engine family.
