Alfa Romeo reveals name of first fully-electric car

Alfa Romeo has revealed the name of its next car – the ‘Milano’ – which will also be offered in a fully-electric version.

Set to be unveiled next April in Italy, the Milano pays tribute to Milan, the city where the brand was founded back in 1910.

The Milano also marks Alfa Romeo’s return to the B-segment, and will join its current crop of vehicles which consists of the Tonale, Stelvio and Giulia, making it the smallest car in its lineup.

While 2024 will see Alfa Romeo debut its first fully-electric vehicle in the form of the Milano, the brand says in 2025 it will unveil the first car in its lineup to only be available as all-electric. Alfa Romeo also says its range will be 100 per cent electric from 2027.

The Alfa Romeo Milano is expected here in Ireland in the second half of next year. More details will follow its launch in April.
