Universal Honda Ltd has partnered with Cork Senior Footballer Brian Hurley who will get behind the wheel of a new Honda Civic 1.6 i-DTEC Sport as a Honda Brand Ambassador.
Hurley is fast becoming one of the rising stars in the GAA, having last year been named as Munster U21 Player of the Year. That same year also saw him join the Cork Senior Football anel and quickly affirm his place within the team for the 2014 season.

Commenting on his partnership with Honda, Brian said: “I am delighted to be a Honda Ambassador. I was always brought up associated with Honda cars, as my father and grandfather were Honda Dealers. Now I am lucky enough to be working with Honda myself, and it’s great to be a part of such a distinguished brand.”
Emmet Kavanagh, Marketing Manager at Universal Honda Ltd. commented, “For many reasons, Honda are very proud to partner with Brian. The Honda association goes back a long way with the Hurley family and we are pleased that our partnership with Brian extends this tradition to a third generation.”
“When it comes to sponsorship we look to work with those who excel in their chosen field, with a clear passion and dedication for what they do. Brian has shown immense talent as an award winning young player, and we are proud to support him at the start of what is sure to be a long and successful senior career. We look forward to following him and the rest of the Cork team throughout this years’ Championship season and beyond.”
