Kenny Galway joins Leapmotor dealer network

Gowan Auto has appointed Kenny Galway on the Tuam Road in Co Galway as its fourth official retail partner for Leapmotor in Ireland, and the first in Connacht.

Officially launching in Ireland this month, Chinese brand Leapmotor, which is part of the Stellantis group, will debut with its compact T03 and family SUV C10 electric and hybrid models, followed by the B10 compact SUV this November.

The appointment of Kenny Galway is part of national importer Gowan Auto’s continuing expansion of its nationwide Leapmotor dealer network.

Established in 1992, Kenny Galway has grown into one of the region’s most trusted motor dealerships. Originally located on the Headford Road, the business relocated in 2003 to its impressive, purpose-built showroom on Tuam Road, Galway.

As the main Peugeot dealer in Galway since 2014, Kenny Galway offers a wide range of vehicles and services. With a knowledgeable and dedicated team, the dealership says it is committed to delivering exceptional customer care for Leapmotor customers.

Brian Kenny, dealer principal at Kenny Galway, said: “Joining forces with Leapmotor marks an exciting new chapter for our dealership as we embrace the future of mobility.

“We look forward to introducing our customers to Leapmotor’s cutting-edge technology and sleek designs, and to offering comprehensive sales, service, and support for these innovative vehicles.”

Business development manager at Leapmotor Ireland, Yvonne Sweeney commented: “We are delighted to welcome Kenny Galway to the Leapmotor family. Their strong reputation for quality and customer service aligns perfectly with our vision to bring innovative electric vehicles to Irish drivers, without compromise.

“This partnership ensures customers in Galway and the west of Ireland can access our exciting Leapmotor lineup with the confidence and local support of such a trusted Galway dealership.”

Gowan Auto is already the exclusive importer and distributor of other Stellantis brands in Ireland including Alfa Romeo, Citroen, DS, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Opel, and Peugeot, together with Honda.

It says the addition of Leapmotor to its portfolio offers Irish electric vehicle customers an even wider choice in terms of value and technology.
