Skoda describes its new Scout as an unique all-rounder that impresses with exceptional driving performance both on and off road. Prices will start here from €33,795, when it arrives later in the year.

Compared to the previous model, emission and consumption levels have been reduced by up to 20 per cent which defies the fact that power and performance has increased across all drive units. In addition the new Scout is even more spacious, very practical, with leading safety equipment and packaged with generous levels of standard equipment.

The new Octavia Scout is based on the estate variant. Its market launch will be at the National Ploughing Championships on September 23
Three new and more powerful engines are up to 20 per cent more efficient. The new Scout will the the 2.0 TDI/184bhp engine with DSG and 4×4 all-wheel drive. The new O Scout also features ultra modern all-wheel-drive technology based on innovative its fifth generation Haldex clutch.
The Octavia Scout has been a fixed feature in Skoda’s model range since 2007. With its second generation Scout, the Czech manufacturer intends to build further on the successes of its versatile 4×4 vehicle range. Between 2007 and the end of 2013, Skoda says that it sold approximately 53,600 Octavia Scouts worldwide. This represents almost 8 per cent of all Octavia estates supplied during that period.
