Newmarket Motors in Co Cork has been appointed as a dealer for the all-electric Xpeng range of passenger cars, Motor Distributors Limited (MDL) has confirmed.
Trading as Xpeng Newmarket, and operating from its base on Main Street, it is the second Xpeng motor retailer, and first in Munster, to be appointed to the Xpeng network in Ireland.
It joins high-profile Dublin-based outlet – Xpeng South Dublin, in Deansgrange. A number of further appointments are soon to be announced.
Launched in Ireland just seven months ago, the Xpeng model currently available to Irish motorists is the all-electric G6 Coupé SUV. Further models are expected to follow in all of which AI design and manufacturing technology will continue to be a key aspect.
