Renault Master wins International Van of the Year 2025

The new Renault Master has won the title of International Van of the Year 2025. The model impressed the jury with innovative technologies, striking design improvements, and an important step for the area of sustainable mobility.

Its Aerovan design and new multi-energy platform make it the new standard on the market, and the most efficient vehicle in its class, across the ICE, electric and hydrogen line-up.

The award was presented at a ceremony during the IAA Transportation show in Hanover this week.

The Master is Renault’s fifth van to win this award, following Renault Master II (IVOTY 1998), Renault Trafic II (IVOTY 2002), Kangoo Z.E (IVOTY 2012) and Kangoo Van III (IVOTY 2022). And Renault is on a roll, as this comes in addition to the European Car of the Year prize won by Scenic E-Tech electric this February.

Renault says this is “a wonderful reward and a true tribute to all the teams who worked on this project”.

It adds that the new Master is “a perfect example of what has made Renault’s light commercial vehicles amazing for more than 120 years: they are innovative, disruptive, multi-energy and designed to be customised in practically endless ways to meet each of our professional customers’ individual wants and needs”.
