The all-new Audi R8 was launched in Geneva. Sharing much of its construction and tech with the new Lamborghini Huracan, it should be a worthy successor to the original classic. Then there’s the on-again, off-again R8 e-tron – it appears that it is back on again, in the form of the new second-gen Audi R8. But one wonders how will it match up to BMW’s sensational i8?

They also unveiled a prologue Avant concept. It follows up the Prologue coupé concept from last year’s Paris show with an Avant version in Geneva. Previews a possible future Audi A9 Avant and a new high-performance hybrid drive with 455 PS and 553.2 lb-ft of torque.
There was a Q7 e-tron Quattro – the first TDI plug-in hybrid with quattro all-wheel drive, with the potential for a combined 876-mile range and 166 mpg.
The second-generation RS 3 Sportback was also there – it combines all of the refinement of the latest A3 with 360hp of quattro performance. Finally, there was also a mid-life update the the Q3 range means some detail changes to the RS Q3. Still has the 2.5, 5-cylinder TFSI engine, now with an extra 30 horsepower.
